For standard cemented carbide, a graphite furnace is perfect. But for Titanium Alloys (TC4), Medical Implants, and Refractory Metals, graphite is the enemy.

At high temperatures, carbon atoms from graphite insulation can migrate and react with sensitive materials, forming brittle carbides (like TiC). For a hip joint implant or an aerospace turbine blade, this micro-contamination can lead to catastrophic fatigue failure.

To achieve medical-grade purity, you need an environment that is physically incapable of producing carbon. You need the Ruideer All-Metal Molybdenum Heating Furnace (RDE-Mo Series)

Designed for the most demanding applications in aerospace and healthcare, the RDE-Mo series replaces all carbon-based components with Molybdenum (Mo), Tungsten (W), and Stainless Steel.

1. 100% Carbon-Free Hot Zone
  • Insulation: Instead of graphite felt, we use a multi-layered All-Metal Heat Shield (Molybdenum + Stainless Steel). It reflects heat efficiently without outgassing carbon or particles.

  • Heating Elements: Made of high-purity Molybdenum Strip or Mesh.

  • Benefit: Eliminates the risk of surface carburization ("Alpha Case"), ensuring your Titanium implants retain their superior biocompatibility and fatigue strength.

2. Ultra-High Vacuum Capability (10-4 Pa)

Metal hot zones do not absorb gases like graphite does.

  • Performance: This allows the furnace to reach a deeper vacuum level faster. While standard furnaces operate at 10-3 Pa, our RDE-Mo series can be upgraded to reach 10-4 Pa upon request.

  • Result: Minimizes oxygen and nitrogen pick-up, crucial for sintering reactive metals like Titanium and Niobium.

3. Precision at 1600°C
  • Temperature Control: Utilizing W-Re thermocouples and advanced PID control, we maintain strict temperature uniformity even at the maximum operating temperature of 1600°

  • Application: Perfect for sintering MIM Titanium parts (watch cases, surgical tools) and annealing refractory metals.
